At NTLA we believe that through helping others we better ourselves, our community and the world. As a part of NTLA’s Leadership Development classes, students learn the importance of serving their community and take part in quarterly service projects. For their 3rd Quarter Service Project, NTLA’s leaders are collecting donated items which they will deliver to three local non-profits. The PreK and Kindergarten leaders are collecting items for Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, an organization that provides a comfortable, loving place to stay for the relatives of seriously ill children. The first-third grade leaders are collecting items for the Roanoke Food Pantry that assists families in need, primarily women and children, in the Northwest ISD area. Our fourth-sixth grade leaders are collecting items for the Tarrant Area Food Bank, the primary source of donated food for hunger-relief charities and feeding programs in 13 North Texas counties.
If you would like to support any or all of these three projects, we invite you to go shopping with this printable wish list of items each organization needs. Donations may be delivered to an NTLA leader (student or staff) or to our school at 10200 Alta Vista Road in Keller.
Leaders will be accepting donations through Wednesday, February 28th!
Go leaders, go!
