Lone Star Leadership Academy Camps

Each summer Education in Action, the North Texas Leadership Academy's non-profit parent organization, offers Lone Star Leadership Academy camps for outstanding 4th-8th grade students. Participants travel to Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin/San Antonio, or Houston/Galveston to develop leadership skills and experience what they are learning in school during visits to significant Texas sites. Schroeder Cooking School

Summer Cooking Classes with Ms. Schroeder. Cooking classes help students learn real life skills in the kitchen and have the opportunity to explore and use their imagination in cooking!

Registration for Camp is due by June 1st. $100 deposit will hold your student's place for camp and applied to the total due.

Summer Road Trip

June 25-29 9:00am-4:00pm Age: 5 years-12 years $275

We are headed on a cooking road trip around the United States. Students will learn traditional recipes from many states. We may actually solve the big BBQ debut...Kansas? Texas? Which one has the best? Students will also cook food indoor and outdoor on a grill! Come learn all the fun summer time recipes!

Soufflé, Sushi, Sammies: Cooking Around the World

July 2-6 (no camp July 4) 9:00am-4:00pm Age: 5 years-12 years $225

Discover world cooking as we learn about different recipes from around the world. Students will be preparing traditional cuisine each day. We will also discuss cultural traditions and where the recipe originates from.

Baking Mysteries Uncovered

July 16-20 9:00am-4:00pm Ages 5 years-12 years $275

Discover all the possibilities of baking and learn to solve easy problems that can happen when you bake. Why does a cake stick to the bottom of the pan? What can I use to substitute butter? We will be baking all sorts of savory and sweet treats!

NTLA is hosting 8Bit Education summer camps on the NTLA campus this summer. 8Bit Education provides students with an introduction to the world of Media and Information Technologies, through the use of fun and interactive courses.

Bricks for Kids

NTLA is hosting Bricks for Kids summer camps on the NTLA campus this summer. Bricks 4 Kidz® camps are a fresh and fun way for kids to spend summer break! Campers will have a blast and kept busy each day engineering, experimenting, crafting, game time and making new friends! Our camps are designed to keep brain gears working throughout the summer with structured & fun learning activities and lessons.
