NTLA’s Lower School is comprised of bright and gifted Kindergarten through 5th grade students. With class sizes no larger than 12, students have the benefit of individualized curriculum and the freedom to learn at an advanced level.
The Project-Based Learning curriculum allows teachers to work as a team to integrate all core subjects. Because of the small class sizes, teachers are acutely aware of the needs of each student and have the ability to design advanced curriculum for all students. Once students master skills within their grade’s curriculum, they are challenged with advanced skills and concepts that are integrated into their daily classroom instruction.
Students have the opportunity to explore the Arts during twice-weekly art classes and music classes three times each week. All students also participate in two annual theater arts productions.
It is our goal to develop lifelong learners and leaders. At NTLA we know that being a leader means doing the right thing, even one no one is looking.
